“At Cypress Solutions, our 5-Stage Integrated Testing Service (ITS) is engineered to validate every critical system in a data center—electrical, mechanical, ELV, networking, and IT infrastructure—ensuring end-to-end functionality, interoperability, and readiness under all design conditions.

This service is a core part of our commissioning methodology and aligns with Uptime Institute, TIA-942, and other international data center standards to deliver a resilient, fully operational facility.

The 5 Stages Include:

1. Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
We coordinate with OEMs to witness and validate major equipment—like UPS, chillers, PDUs, switches, fire panels, and IT hardware—at the factory, ensuring performance prior to shipment.
2. Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)
Once equipment arrives on-site, we validate proper installation, physical integrity, and conformance to electrical, mechanical, and IT specifications—ensuring site-readiness and safety compliance.
3. Component-Level Testing
We independently test each subsystem (e.g., power distribution, precision cooling, BMS, servers, storage, structured cabling) to confirm that all components perform to design specs and are defect-free.
4. System-Level Testing
Interrelated systems such as UPS-HVAC-IBMS or Server-Network-Security are tested together to validate interoperability and correct system behavior under event-based conditions.
5. Integrated Systems Testing (IST)
We simulate full-load operations, stress scenarios, failover conditions, and emergency events to evaluate end-to-end functionality across both IT and non-IT layers, ensuring the entire data center functions as a single cohesive unit.
